WinDots is designed to keep your habit data on your device. This policy describes what information is involved and how it is handled.
The App stores locally on your device: habit names, color choices, and which habits you mark complete on which dates. We do not require an account, and we do not operate our own servers to receive this data from the App.
Information you enter is used only to provide the App’s features (displaying Today, Progress, and Habits screens). We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising inside the App.
If you are signed into iCloud, WinDots may store the same habit names, completion history, and dot-color palette index in Apple’s iCloud Key-Value storage so your data can merge across your devices. Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy also apply. You can disable iCloud for this app in system Settings if you prefer local-only storage on each device (behavior may vary by iOS version).
We do not transmit your habit data to ourselves by default. If you email us via Contact support, you choose what to include in that message; treat email as you would any outbound communication.
This version of WinDots does not embed third-party analytics SDKs. Apple may collect standard App Store and device diagnostics according to your system and App Store settings.
Data remains on your device (and in your iCloud Key-Value store if enabled) until you delete it (for example via Settings → Clear all habits) or remove the App. We cannot recover data from your device or Apple’s systems on your behalf.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe a child has provided information and you have concerns, contact us via Contact support.
You can stop using the App at any time, adjust appearance and haptics in Settings, or clear all stored habits and history with the destructive action provided there.
We may update this policy when the App changes. The “Last updated” date will reflect revisions. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where allowed by law.
For privacy questions, use Contact support in the WinDots app (Settings) to open a message to us from your mail app.
