Orbit Steps reads step count, active energy burned, flights climbed, stand hours, and exercise minutes from Apple HealthKit with your explicit permission. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or any personally identifiable information.
All health data remains on your device. We do not operate servers or databases. Your data is never transmitted to us or any third party. App preferences are stored locally via UserDefaults.
Health data is used exclusively to display step counts, calculate distances, track streaks, show trends, and deliver goal notifications — all locally on your device.
We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your data — ever. Orbit Steps contains no advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or third-party trackers.
Orbit Steps complies with Apple's HealthKit guidelines. HealthKit data is never used for advertising or sold to data brokers. We only read the specific data types required for app functionality.
You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in Settings → Health → Apps. Uninstalling the app removes all preferences. Since we store no data on servers, there is nothing to request or delete from us.
Orbit Steps does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store and does not include features targeting children.
Push notifications are optional and only used to alert you about step goal milestones. You can disable them in Settings → Notifications → Orbit Steps at any time.
We may update this policy with app updates. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

Orbit Steps is a consumer wellness app, not a medical device. It has not been evaluated or approved by the FDA, CE, or any regulatory body. Step data is an estimate from motion sensors, not a clinical measurement.
No content, data, or suggestion within Orbit Steps constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Step goals are for motivation only and are not prescriptions for your specific health condition.
Always consult a qualified provider before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have cardiovascular disease, diabetes, joint conditions, pregnancy, or any chronic illness.
Step counts, distances, and calorie estimates are approximations. Accuracy varies by device, walking style, terrain, and phone placement. Do not use these figures for clinical decision-making.
General step guidelines (e.g., "10,000 steps/day") are population averages, not personalized prescriptions. Your optimal activity level depends on your individual health status.
The developer of Orbit Steps is not liable for any injury or adverse outcome resulting from use of, or reliance on, the app. By using this app you acknowledge that physical activity carries inherent risks.
Chasing step goals can lead to overexertion or injury. Listen to your body. Rest is essential. Do not push through pain in pursuit of in-app achievements.

Your agreement with Orbit Steps
By downloading, installing, or using Orbit Steps you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and do not use it.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Orbit Steps for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.
You may not: reverse engineer or decompile the app; use it commercially; attempt to extract source code; use it to violate any law; or circumvent any security controls.
All content, design, code, graphics, and branding are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive no ownership rights by using the app.
Orbit Steps is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will be accurate. Use at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the app.
Orbit Steps integrates with Apple HealthKit and iOS notifications. Your use of those services is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for Apple's services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
